Purpose

To deepen visitor's understanding, convey the charm of Tottori sand dunes and offer comfortable environment there through the explanation or introduction, and offer opportunities of experience

Main Business Activities

The council conducts the following businesses in order to achieve the aforementioned purpose.
(1)Guidance on the nature, geography, plants and animals in the are of San'in Kaigan National Park and Tottori sand dunes
(2)Provide information on UNESCO Global Geopark San'in Kaigan Geopark and nearby tourist spots
(3)Assistance for study Tottori sand dunes through the experiencal learning
(4)Provide resting space and handle an emergency situation
(5)Planning or event promoting utilization or conservation of Tottori sand dunes
(6)Maintenance management of the facility and equipment
(7)Other business laid down by the council
